'Ban The Spear, stone its maker'

- 22 May 2012

A recent article in The Times reported on the court bid by the ANC to have the controversial painting of President Jacob Zuma removed from Goodman Gallery, the wide spread condemnation of the artist and comments made following the Justice Departments visit to the gallery. Pamela Stein, a partner at Webber Wenztel, was quoted representing the Goodman Gallery.

Stein commented that she was unaware of the Justice Department's view that "the conduct under scrutiny amounts to no less than crimen injuria".
