He specialises in international trade and transport law and deals with the commercial aspects and any dispute resolution matters pertaining to these areas.

Acting for the owners of the pontoon Margaret and her cargo of floating docks and barges, which ran aground at Jacobs Bay on the west coast after the tow line to the tug Salvaliant parted, resulting in her becoming a wreck after salvage attempts failed. The tug was subsequently arrested and security obtained for South African proceedings, which have been instituted.
