Johan de Lange is a partner in the Banking and Finance Practice at Webber Wentzel.

He focuses on all aspects of general banking finance.  He has advised clients on structured and asset finance, acquisition and leveraged finance, commercial property finance and general single lender and syndicated corporate credit transactions.

Johan’s clients have included a number of London-based international banks.  His experience extends to commercial law, specifically mergers and acquisitions, private equity and transaction origination.

He has spent a term working abroad in the banking and finance department of Allen & Overy LLP, one of the international, magic circle law firms in London.

His expertise has been recognised by various international research organisations including Chambers Global, Legal 500, IFLR1000, Who's Who Legal and Best Lawyers.

Johan has an LLB degree from the University of Potchefstroom, an LLM degree from the University of Johannesburg and an M.Sc degree from the University of London.
