Robert Wilson is a partner in the Competition Practice at Webber Wentzel.

He specialises in competition law and international trade law. His competition law experience includes advising clients on complaint investigations and litigation, merger control, market inquiries and compliance. Robert also has significant knowledge of the competition laws of many other African countries and regularly works on multijurisdictional merger applications across Africa.

His experience extends across a number of sectors including mining, liquid fuels, chemicals, plastics, construction, industrial and consumer goods, distribution and retail, financial services, healthcare, and information and communication technology.

Robert's expertise has been recognised by numerous leading international research organisations including Chambers Global, Legal 500, IFLR1000, Who's Who Legal, Best Lawyers and The International Law Office.

Robert has BA and LLB degrees from the University of Cape Town, a LLM from the University of London and a Master of International Law and Economics from the University of Bern.
